Petmate Double Orthopedic Foam Plush/Jacquard Dog Bed with Piping For Pets, 36" x 48", Assorted

i have a lg breed american bulldog weighing about 110lbs. a medium sized crater has already formed on this foam bed after having it for about 2.5 wks. i got the lg sized bed and the surface is certainly large enough for him to fully lay out on it, and he does seem to love it after previously spending all his time laying and sleeping on the carpet floor. i was realistic about this purchase and certainly wasn't expecting some top notch bed that'll hold its shape, but i wasn't expecting his heavy weight to form a crater so soon. this bed or any of the other sizes it comes in may be a lot better suited for small-med. sized dogs. i expect this bed will last for 6 months give or take a few months before i'd definitely have to purchase a new bed for him, and to push it a little further i'm rotating/turning over the bed every wk or so. the bed cover itself looks nice. i got the brown colored one, and the top soft lining is very soft indeed. however, i feel it'll shred apart after a few machine washes so i just put a fleece blanket over the whole surface so i'd just wash this blanket instead of the zippered cover.
