Great yard working shoes.

I use these shoes for yard work to protect my feet and ankles. Primarily my grass cutting shoes and they are also great for ground work with a shovel or even with snow work. They also performed well during litter pickup at my local park. The laces may be a bit too long for my foot but the top eyelets allow for double looping to use up the excess length. My actual shoe size is 8 1/2 but I got theses shoes in size 8 for a proper fit as with all my other athletic type of shoes. When properly laced they are comfortable to wear and the materials allow for easy cleaning with a hose sprayer. I'm not a hiker so I can say how they would perform in those conditions. Really glad I bought these multi use shoes and they should last me for years.

Comfortable and waterproof

These hiking boots are extremely comfortable. I have owned a variety of hiking boots over the years and these are by far the most comfortable. They are well padded without feeling loose or overstuffed. The insoles are also a nice upgrade from the standard ones that are usually found in shoes. I prefer hiking style boots for work because they are semi-professal enough for me to wear and they keep my feet dry. Plus they have great traction. They lace up easily, tie together tightly, and are easy to get your foot in and out because the first two rows are hooks instead of eyelets which make it easy to slip the laces out to take them off. Overall, they have a great look and the uppers seem to be securely attached to the soles. Definitely a great set of boots.

Really liked the style but the inside sole did not feel like it would be comfortable for wearing for a long time. I think I could feel the treads through the sole. Ended up returning for some Columbias for another $15
