these are quite binding at the ankles and I am diabetic so I did not return them. I just gifted them to someone else that did not have the same issues I do. I have difficulty sucks. most of the diabetic sucks that I get are too loose and don't have any support and I thought these might be okay. maybe I could take the Hem out of the top and alter them, which I do with most of my socks. I take the him out and I take the elastic out and then I crochet a fitted band. that works perfectly for me but these socks are not. they don't work for that. I do recommend them for people who don't have issues, but they're really not good for if you want to try to use them or alter them in any way. they're they're too tight all the way through and they're not really. I think they would be good for sports after active sports which was what they were meant for and I thought I would try them. I was going to return them but I know somebody who's always out of socks can never find his socks so I just gave them away. but like I said, they're good for athletes I think but not for diabetics I was hoping cuz I don't like the diabetic socks I found the hand knitted socks that I buy on Etsy are but they're too hot for summer so I have a problem with that. so I'm looking for some good summer socks. preferably 100% cotton. I used to be able to get them from Dollar trading company but they switched brands and the ones they have now aren't as good as they once they carry before. I'm just looking for the old fashioned knit cotton socks. they can be machine knitted but I don't like the elastic in them. I want 100% cotton no no spandex and it's the spandex or whatever it is. they put in them for the scratch. that really is the problem
