This is an excellent tool for moving dry snow, and it can handle wet snow up to about 5 inches, if you dot it in widths less than the full 12 inches. I have recommended them to friends and purchased them for family members. Getting a second battery is recommended, but it charges in an hour. This is great for smaller areas, and use by kids and seniors. If you are getting more than 6 inches of snow in one storm get out there and clear off the first 6 inches and then wait for the rest to fall and clear that. It is pretty quiet compared to a gas monster, and shouldnt bother the neighbors, unless they are very close. Like any tool it has limitations, but learn to use it to the best of its abilities and you'll be very happy! I am a disabled senior and wish I had known about these years ago!

Handy snow removal!
Incredible little machine! Cleared my walkway, driveway and sidewalk super quickly and with very little effort. It blows snow forward instead of to the side but even so it's high enough that it scatters and doesn't add to the path in front too badly. For deeper snow drifts I found it easier to do a sort of shallower pass first, then pushing along the ground as normal.
