Excellent quality

Out of over 10 pieces, this is one was a keeper. Even though the reviews made me nervous about the assembly, as soon as I saw the thick and attractive shelves, I knew I would keep it. I didn't assemble it myself, but what I was told is this: use a power screwdriver and it is no deal at all (about the absent predrilled holes). It looks very nice, not cheap at all.

Doesn't come pre-drilled!!!

The quality of the bookcase is fantastic. A few notes: Most importantly, the wood does not come with pre-drilled holes. This means that you must measure each individual support against the shelf to determine hole placement, and then drill the holes yourself. The instructions do not acknowledge at all that the holes are missing, which is equally bizarre. The bottom side of the wood is significantly darker than the top side of the wood.

Heads up

I searched the web trying to find dimensions for this since none are on the walmart site. 25.98"w x 15"d x 54.02"h according to other sites that carry the same item. The heads up is from other people who purchased this shelf and then found there are no predrilled holes in the wood. They comment that the wood is very thick and the holes cannot be drilled with just a screw driver. You need to use a drill and bit to get the holes in. They also comment that there is no guide to where to drill the holes so it is a lot of guessing and hoping the size is right. This item looks so nice but unsure about the drilling without a guide or directions.
