This "Infallible Never Fail Lipcolour Compact" in the color Amethyst is the best!!! It is the best neutral shade despite the name Amethyst and also long lasting. PLEASE RECONSIDER THE DECISION TO DISCONTINUE THIS LINE OF LIPSTICK. I have tried the new version of Infallible Lip and I do not like it and will not buy it again. There is no comparable color to Amethyst in the new Infallible Lip Product. I BEG YOU TO BRING THIS LINE OF LIP COLORS BACK. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, RECONSIDER YOUR DECISION REGARDING THIS LINE. I AM HEARTBROKEN. :-(

It really does stay on all day

This is like a lip paint. It takes a bit of practice at first to get the application just right (not too much, not too little) on the applicator, and then to carefully apply to the lips because it is not forgiving like tubes of lipstick. If you make a mistake, you need to fix it immediately because this once applied and dried, this lipstick is there to stay until you take it off with some oil. You definitely need to use the gloss that comes with it because your lips feel dry without the gloss.
