This chair is perfect for a small tub or shower. if it were any wider it wouldn't have fit. Construction was a bit tricky but doable.Instruction pictures could have been more precise. If you want to use the showerhead hold feature on the chair you will need to get a longer hose. I am very happy with this purchase!
