I didn't think I would like a folding cane. I've fallen enough on my own and I didn't believe a folding cane could possibly be safe. I wanted one because it would be much easier to carry around stores and other places a cane isn't needed. I decided to give it a try and if it wasn't what I needed I would return it. I am positively impressed with this folding cane. It's easy to go from four pieces of metal to a full-size cane. It is easy to open up. It's like there is a piece of stretch rope in it. It snaps in place and is the size of a regular cane. It is also easy to close it up. I feel very safe and secure using this cane. It adjusts for different heights and the handle is very soft and comfortable. If you've been concerned about the reliability and safety of a folding cane give this a shot. I'm sure glad I did. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a cane. It is for people over 250 pounds so there is a lot of strength in it. I would buy this again.
