First… DONT FREAK OUT when you take the product out. It will look “bent” or angled funny, but it will look that way until you set the tension correctly when installing…. Now, I've purchased many metal baby gates before and the range in price was double or MORE than this one… and this one is just as great, if not BETTER than those name brand gates I've bought before. When the gate of pushed open to a 90 degree angle it will stay open, but less than that and it will close automatically. My other gates do not do this and o wish they did! When your hands are full it's a blessing for sure!
