Farberware 1.9QT Air Fryer, Grey

My 5 stars are the first time use, i was actually hesitant on purchasing because I had a black and decker toaster oven that has always worked well for me but i couldnt toast everything to a crisp perfection and also because im dieting and cutting out fried foods i read this was the best alternative and i have a 9 year old so i have to be versatile with dinners. So i had been watching the prices for quite some time and got this lil guy on rollback so i felt it was inexpensive enough to take the risk and i am not Disappointed!!! The first thing i made was a copycat Chipotle burrito turned chimichanga. Tofu sofritas with basic flour tortilla cheese black beans and brown rice rolled up and sprayed a little canola pam and in literally 7 mins the top was crisp and beautifully browned!! Amazing results on the first try, but some tips, i had it on 400 which is high for a little burrito so like other reviews say play with the temp to get a idea how it works. I followed the directions it came with and let it run for 20 mins on 400 to burn off the manufacture chemical smell and then washed it. I just love fried foods but because of my age and risk i have to stay away so this id say is the best alternative. It is small so keep in mind i think a large family would have to invest in a way bigger one but for me and my daughter its perfect. Hope this helps

Perfect size for two people or for a camping trailer. My biggest pet peeve with most air fryers is the smooth timer knobs because I put bacon or other greasy/wet things in and its hard to grip the knob with slick fingers. The finish on this knob has a little texture so its not an issue.
