Evenflo Shyft Dualride Infant Car Seat and Stroller Combo, Green & Gentle Fabric, Champagne

I was a little nervous when I decided to purchase this car seat over the doona (which we had with the last baby) because of some of the reviews. Doona is the luxury standard so I was concerned about the quality of the seat along with the ease of function, but evenflo did a good job with the design and functionality that I would argue that it has a few better features than the doona. The BIGGEST differences between the two is how they fold and that Evenflo allows you to detach the wheels. That may not sound like a huge difference… but believe me… it is. When you're at the grocery store pushing the doona and a cart… you wish that it could fit into the cart insert for car seats and anxiously anticipate the day that your child can sit in the cart to alleviate the struggle. The collapsing mechanism is a little annoying, but is functional and takes practice. Each leg is independent and you have to fold it on itself vs the doona which is a smooth collapse that feels more natural. I looked at both Doona reviews and Evenflo and people complain about both pretty equally. If we had the Evenflo first, then I would probably feel like the doona was weird too. The last highlight I want to give Evenflo is the carryall bag. I'm excited to use it and the functionality that it adds to the seat. There is also a “don't forget your baby feature” but I'm not planning on using that. Overall, j think it's a great car seat.

This stroller makes life much easier! Not only does it look very nice but I save a lot of time by being able to pop down the stroller when I'm picking up my 3 older kids from school. I've never had this kind of car seat/stroller before but I'm very happy with mine!
