These recliners are not meant for heavy duty use however they're great for if you just want to have something to sit on when guest come over but they are cheaper material, but they are absolutely pretty and great for decoration and accent, but if you're a person who has family and friends will come over often and constantly sit on your couch couches they may not be for you or if you have a little ones who are rough

You've heard of Build-a-bear? well, this is build-a-chair. This is the second recliner of this type I have purchased from Walmart where some assembly is required. However, I would stress this REALLY requires assembly. Previous recliner was simply taking out of the box and sliding the chair back into slots. And it was done. With this chair, you will be screwing together nearly every possible part. So, if you're an engineer or mechanically inclined… Go for it. You will save some money and feel more satisfaction that you accomplished it. However, if you've had trouble in the past putting together IKEA furniture… I would pass on this chair and pay more for a chair that requires less assembly.
