- Short Pet Gate - Our short dog gate is great for containing smaller breeds, puppies, and non-jumpers. It is small enough to step over yet heavy enough to keep from being pushed out of the way. Provides a barrier without the need for a swinging door or a latching system. This gate is for pets only and is NOT to be used for children.
- Freestanding Pet Gate - Unlike other safety gates, our freestanding low dog gate requires no drilling or mounting and is easy to move from room to room. You will need to extend the gate to your desired width, tighten set screws to secure the position, and slip the feet onto to the bottom.
- Adjustable Pet Gate - This short gate for small dogs is 20 inches tall. It's adjustable from 28 inches to 51.75 inches wide. Great for containing small and toy-size pets with only 2.25 inches of space between the bars.

The Cardinal Gates Step Over Pet Gate is the perfect solution for small pet containment. This freestanding gate has bar spacing's of 2.25” and is designed for small breeds, non-jumpers, and puppies. At 20" tall, this gate is the perfect height for you to step over, yet keeps your pet contained. It is adjustable and able to close off openings from 28" to 51.75”. Multiple 22” extension panels can be added to increase the maximum width of this gate (model SGX, sold separately). It features solid wood construction and is easy to set up with minimal assembly necessary. The included rubber-bottomed feet protect your floors while adding stability. This gate is intended for indoor use only and all necessary assembly hardware is included in the box, no wall mounting necessary. Available in Natural, Walnut, and White.

Great gate for small dogs
This gate is easily put together. It is a beautiful color and matches well with our cherry cabinets. We use this to keep the little dogs in the kitchen. It is low enough to step over. We use to have the gate that you had to always open the door to get through. This is our second one that we purchased, and we will buy again, if needed.
