Great lodge quality
Lodge quality. I have had success with polishing the sand cast surface using a 60 grit sponge to help reduce roughness. Then re-seasoning and the cast iron is less sticky for food residue. Others online use grinders and sanders. $5 sponges and 30-40 minutes of elbow grease helps too for budget minded people.

This product came in earlier than expected so we took it on our last camping trip. We used the Dutch Oven for a stew and for a baked Cornish Hen dinner. It was fantastic. We have a number of Lodge products... I would recommend them to everyone who wants to cook with cast iron.
