Bought this griddle to replace a broken off brand one I was using, and I absolutely love this Cuisinart Griddle, Yes it's a bit more expensive, but, so far, it is worth it. The plates heat evenly and quickly. Easy clean up with the drip tray. I have used it for French Toast, Pancakes, grilled cheese and hamburger patties and everything turned out perfect. I would highly recommend this product.

I was replacing our old Cuisinart griddler, as it was over 10 years old (still worked great!), but our family has expanded since then. Bought the Griddler Deluxe to replace a quesadilla maker used quit working. Glad that my husband and I bought it. I can now make quesadillas to any thickness that we want. The removable plates for cleaning ease, a plus is that they're dishwasher safe. It also opens up flat and use it as grill. Have cooked hamburgers, hot dogs, different food. The drip dish is great.
