Now this is the error on my end. I thought it opened up to 41 in. I might return it and get one if you have a larger one, yet if you don't, I can add 2 in. One thing I didn't mention before is that when you return something it is a very easy process! I could not find my order number yet. I did have the packaging labels and they were able to return it. Just from that! I was really happy. What I like about the product is, it will not destroy a doorway., It has a door that will Open and close easily. Those are the qualities I was looking for.

Awesome easy to place in doorway keeps what I want out and what I want in. I love the height that extra inches means my Chihuahua can’t jump over it. I think we should have them on our bedrooms and kitchen. They have a nice appearance. I only wished I had ordered black instead of white. With dark real wood doors and trim and dark beige carpet. The gate is very noticeable.
