Put it on the bed and hoped for the best. Well, to my surprise, this inexpensive topper was great! It was comfortable and had just enough firmness to not be overly soft, but provided enough cushion to relieve my body aches. I slept comfortably for the remainder of my stay. If you need a mattress topper and don't want/can't spend a ton of money, this is a good one to try.
