Dyson Ball Multi Floor Origin Upright Vacuum | Fuchsia | New

I replaced my Dyson DC25 Animal with the new Dyson DC65 Multi Floor. The Dyson DC25 has provided years of great service so I did not know how much better the DC65 would be. After using it I can report that the DC65 is a huge improvement over my DC25. The first thing I noticed was the longer power cord. I used to have to unplug and move the cord 2 times to vacuum my downstairs living room and 2 bedrooms. With the DC65, the cord is long enough that I just plug it in once and can vacuum the entire downstairs without moving to another outlet. The next thing I noticed was the much wider brush bar, since it covers a wider area, it means a little less work to vacuum the same size area than the older DC25. My house has a combination of wood floors, carpeting and area rugs. One of the great things about the DC25 is that it did a good job on all types of floors. The DC65 is much better, we have 3 dogs so sometimes getting the dog hair out of the carpet and area rugs can be a challenge. The first area I used the DC65 was on the area rugs and carpeting. You can feel how powerful the suction is on this machine the second you turn it on. The DC25 had problems getting in the “ground in” dog hair on the carpet/area rugs, the DC65 did not have the same problem. I noticed a significant improvement in the DC65, after I vacuumed the area rugs I realized that they had not been this clean in a long time. The other great thing about the DC65 is the edge to edge cleaning of the brush bar due to the new design. This works especially well wood floors as it allows you to vacuum right up to the edge of the floor. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the DC65. It does an excellent job on all types of flooring I have in my home. It is easy to use and easy to clean, you will also notice the high quality workmanship in this vacuum. Brand loyalty is something that doesn't exist much anymore as manufacturers seem to just care about mass producing their products without much attention to detail or quality. Dyson does not fall into this category, all of their products that I own have exceeded my expectations for performance and quality. Keep up the good work!
