I am now a fan. I can wear the tape and forego the bulky bandage wrap. It gives my ankle that extra support or needs while it heals. No sticky residue. It's stretchy. They come in precut steps and I like that I can cut it to the size I need.

Sport Tape

I was extremely impressed with the Mueller Sport tape. It is strategically portioned in strips of about 10 inches long for the purpose of wrapping correctly to allow enough flexibility so it is not too tight and confined. It is made with a nice sturdy material with an adhesive backing. The adhesive back is covered with plastic that has to be peeled off to expose the adhesive. What I found so impressive about the tape is that it comes with instruction as to show the proper way of wrapping various injured parts of your body. It explains how many strips to use for each injury, how to wrap it and how to cut the strip in specific ways for the best performance. Some of the wrap instructions are for Runner's knee, Rotator Cuff, Hamstring, Shin Splints, Back pain, Carpal Tunnel, Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Tendinitis. The tape is breathable and waterproof.
