Yet, this sandwich maker saves the day and doesn't require major expertise to use. You can easily clean the plates. Also, the bread toasts well no matter how thick it is or how thin. I specifically tested both thinner and thicker bread, and both cook well in this sandwich maker. You can even see on the book other recommended types of sandwiches. You can even make a ham and cheese melt as I did. The sandwich maker also helps to keep the bread from moving too much when the cheese is melting. I loved how it cooks from all angles and makes sandwiches so fast.
