On-Demand - Flow meter measures water and regenerates based on water use, not time, conserving salt and water.
- 19,800 ppm/32,000 grain capacity - Contains 0.5 cubic feet of nitrate specific resin capable of removing up to 19,800 ppm of nitrates/nitrites and 1.0 cubic foot high capacity softening resin capable of removing 32,000 grains of hardness between regeneration cycles. 10 GPM Service Flow - Treats a maximum flow rate of 10 gallons per minute.

AFW Filters Water Bottle Install Kit Included. Comes with silicone lubricant, Sani pack, hardness test strip, and USB installation instructions for the perfect DIY install! To keep costs down, most people use a system that combines nitrate/nitrite specific resin with standard softening resin. These combo systems provide all the benefits of a nitrate/nitrite filter with the softening ability of a water softener. The lower cost of softening resin also provides a lower price than the nitrate/nitrite only systems. Controlled by the low cost Fleck 5600SXT, this system provides durability and efficiency in an economical package. The 5600SXT control head is metered, meaning it measures the amount of water used and regenerates only as needed!
