Mellow Mae Mid-Century Modern Sofa with Curved Arms, Light Grey

I bought this sofa for an elderly relative moving into a temporary apartment. I will start by saying that I actually work in the design industry and I know style, quality, details, etc. like the back of my hand and am extremely picky. Although sofas of almost all price points are made poorly these days (so you can't expect a lot), this sofa is practically perfect. First, it had the suitable scale to fit his apartment. The silhouette and shape are striking, the comfort is fantastic (love how there's no center seam in the seat structure to dig into your backside), the cushions that come packed under the seat (they are velcroed in and you have to remove them; they're stowed that way to reduce bulk for shipping) are super comfortable and easy to move around if you want to sleep on the sofa. The legs are ultra high quality. The tightback style looks great from the back if you want to "float" it in the middle of the room, and I love the rolled arms. This was also one of the easiest pieces of furniture I've ever put together. It's lightweight and easy to move, yet it's still sturdy. Plus I paid $316.43 for it. For this whole thing. How is this sofa even real? If I have any complaints at all, it's that the gray color is not accurate in person to how it appears on the site. In person it has almost a teal tint to it. It's not an intense teal but that tint does affect what other colors you can coordinate with the piece. I would have preferred a more neutral gray. But I made up for it by choosing accent pillows that worked with, rather than against, the weird upholstery shade. Truth time: You won't find a truly well-made sofa these days unless you're paying $5,000 . Instead, I'd rather buy a sofa of passable quality... and why spend $4,500 on a sofa when I could spend $316.43 to get something in the exact same quality bracket? No contest. I don't know what else to tell you guys except to buy this sofa!
