This brand and this particular kind generally tastes better than some of the other brands and works great to make daily salads for lunches. It also seals well as long as you carefully peal the top off and carefully seal every area back together. Freshness will wane quickly if you don't seal it well after each use. the lettuce tastes good, crunchy and fresh like you'd expect.

My favorite lettuce mix!

This is definitely my favorite lettuce mix for salads. The lettuce always seems fresh, and I love the crispiness of some of the lettuce! Plus, for people who have digestive issues with iceburg lettuce , this might be the way to go. Maybe tmi, but for myself, eating iceberg lettuce tends to make me have to run to the bathroom. I can eat as much as I want with this lettuce mix and it does not do that to me. :)
