DHP Manila Metal Platform Bed with Adjustable Height, Full, Bronze

I seriously thought this would be a rinky-dink bed, and would be used mostly for looks in our guest room. I was really pleased and surprised at the quality, the weight rating, and how great it looks in our beach-themed guest room! I would definitely recommend this bed to those who keep in mind that it is not real wrought iron, and not expect it to be as heavy and robust as real iron beds. My husband is a pilot and can put anything together, meticulously and correctly - it took him less than an hour and he was very impressed with the sturdiness of the frame. We used a regular box spring and a top mattress about 2/3 as high as a normal mattress, and it worked fine to bring the top mattress up a little higher, as I wanted.

I found this bed originally on Amazon but purchased it here (about 75 dollars cheaper here). Shipping The shipping was fast even tho I ordered it during the holidays. The packaging The box is a little heavy so I recommend using two people to lift it or just open the box and take it where you need it piece by piece, that is what I did getting the whole box up the steps would have been a pain. Assembly Once you open the box you see everything is wrapped in plastic to prevent scratches and is all nicely labeled. It took my father and I about 30 min to put this bed together. The instructions are very straight forward and easy. All the tools that are needed included and they give you the exact number of nuts, bolts and screws you need to put the bed together so don't lose any. The Look I think the bed looks great. Because it is all wrapped in plastic there were no scratches. If you want more pictures of what this bed looks like I recommend looking at it on Amazon they have more (and better) pictures. Functionality It works great with my memory foam mattress. There isn't very much space between each support bar so it provides a lot of support.
