I can not begin to praise this grooming tool. When they say professional grooming on the box, they are being polite and humble, to say the least. I have been working with animals pretty much all my life. For me to be completely astonished by any product is unheard of. Pros- the shaver itself is charged by a USB plugin. Therefore you can charge it anywhere. It has numerous blade settings on a dial which makes it easier to change at a moment's notice. No struggle with doing anything extra. My animal's fur was extremely thick. ( British mastiff) the shaver didn't bog out, quit, or get hot. It rolled right with what I was doing. It's so quiet, that my dog didn't get spooked, jump, or react poorly. As a matter of fact, she laid down enjoying every minute of grooming. She is a big scaredy cat. So that is definitely a bonus. The shaver shows the speed (it has three), the amount of battery life, and more. Doesn't get warm or hot no matter what. At 100% charge, it held up for about 30 minutes on battery. Charged within an hour. Didn't get clogged with hair, great clean cut. It also came with a smaller trimming head for smaller cuts such as the paws, face, ears, etc. easy to change. The guards at first are confusing as to how to put them on. When you take a good look at it and slide them on and click them in place they're secure and and don't move until you take them off. They don't hold onto hair. It falls right off. There are different sizes. With the blade change going from .05 to 2.0 it gives you different range of cuts. The Package also includes a metal comb (regular size). Includes scissors, power cord, and nail trimmers, nail file. Cleaning brush. Cons- the cutting guards appear to be made of a cheaper plastic. They break if you bump them on any thing. Battery- for a pet owner like myself, it would be much easier if the battery could go at least another half hour. I've attempted to try to keep it on the charger while I'm cutting, It only helps a little bit. The nail cutter in the Package is definitely for a cat or very tiny dog. With the shears capabilities, having a larger nail trimmer would be beneficial. For it to be a complete grooming set a brush shedder and other nail grooming tools would be beneficial. The price in my opinion and experience definitely matched the quality of the product. Plus even the most skiddish animal loves it.
