Must buy for any home gym

These are thick, durable, and absolutely a floor saver. Initially there was a strong rubber odor, but after airing it out for 4 hours outside the smell went away. The only way you can smell the rubber is if you put your nose to it. I do all types of lifts with dead-lifts just past 400lbs and these mats work just fine.

1.5 inch of floor protection goodness

Placed over 1/4 inch rubber flooring, I tested a ~350lb deadlift and there is minimal vibration. There doesn't seem to be a need for plywood with these tiles. I do wish (like the Rogue deadlift tiles), there was a "smooth top" option. With free shipping though, these are a steal!

Durable. Awesome.

I'm able to drop 45lb plates from shoulder height and these prevent my concrete garage floor from getting damaged. Muffles a lot of the sound too. I love 'em. My entire home gym floor is lined with these.
