It only took about an hour or so to build the big desk part and maybe 20-25 mins for the smaller part! Super easy assembly, and for the cost and the look, I would say that it hits all the points that you would want in a desk without the big price tag. Got for my teenager. He's entering high school in the fall and wanted a appropriate space for him to complete his work and also for gaming. It has so much room and the convenience of moving the small desk to make an L or even to tuck it under is awesome. We love it.

Can't beat the price
This is a great desk for a smaller space. It came with some dents and chips on the corners but for the price I'll fix it myself. My husband but this together by himself fairly quickly. One thing that was not clear is that this desk does not come with any bins like in the pictures. It wasn't clear in the description if they were included or not.

The entire thing looks like the photo. I thought the whole desk was made from wood, however, only the desktops are wood. The supporting structure is actually metal with a wood print on it. It is pretty heavy, but once I got it laid down, I was able to assemble it on my own. The instructions are simple and clear. Overall, I think I will get good use out of it for the next several years. And the price point was a steal!
