The build quality of this chair is excellent, though you will pay a bit more than for many other chairs. It's been in use now for several weeks, and I'm very happy with it. I did give this a Scotch Guard treatment before first use, as over time the high-quality fabric provided can take a beating. There are some very good design choices in play: the two control pads are simple and easily understood, two small built-in fabric loops keep each of the controls from falling out of reach, the wiring is well laid out and will not get tangled, and the chair lays back fully while also rising high enough to make standing easy. One critical troubleshooting point the vendor did not mention: if you plug the chair in the first time and nothing works, look for the small power switch on the rear of the frame, and be sure it is on. Note this chair is *not* a wall hugger, so you will have some empty space behind it to allow for a fully laid back position.
