Product details

The HydroShield Shingle Starter Roll is a self adhering roof underlayment designed to provide a defensive waterproof base underneath the first layer of shingles on a rooftop. It can be applied to roof surfaces which will be covered by either shingles or other roof covering on the same day. This roofing starter strip has properly positioned adhesive zip strips that fasten down shingle tabs to help prevent blow off. The longer the zip strips are left exposed, the less effective the adhesive on the starter roll surface becomes. The HydroShield Shingle Starter Roll is an easy to use, roofing starter strip that saves labor and materials.
