pfaltzgraff briar 16-pc. dinnerware set

I ordered a set of twelve and I'm so pleased with my purchase. The dishes are much prettier in person then the picture. They are well made. I do wish they would offer just the dinner plates to buy. That seems to be the one thing I always break and would like to be able to replace them if I do break a piece. I would recommend this set. You can't go wrong on the price and quality.

To be honest - I bought this as compromise set. Both hubby and I liked it enough for me to purchase it. But I liked another set from Pfaltzgraff much better. When I got this, to my surprise, I loved it! The quality is excellent. The bowls are a large - more like serving bowls. The small plates are a great size for little ones for dinner. And the color neutral enough to go with my kitchen and dining room. We did find a few hairline fractures in a few bowls - customer service to the rescue. She was so great, professional, kind, understanding and and sent along new bowls for us. As this is my first purchase with Pfaltzgraff, I am hoping to keep this in my family for many years to come. I, like other reviewers, wish there were more to match it, however, I am sure I can come up with something. :)
