Great product and can be made even better

Really powerful and full of handy features. A few areas of improvement though. The weight is mainly concentrated in front of the wheels so they tend to slip sometimes when the snow is a bit harder and the second is if there could be a sharper edge at the bottom of the plow to help scrape and clean the snow down to the asphalt.

28 inch EGO snowblower, a good buy

I picked up my new 28 inch snow blower a couple of weeks ago. It was very simple to assemble. I unboxed it and put it together with no tools required, in the bed of my pickup truck then drove it down ramps to ground level, all in about 5 minutes. I had to wait for a snow storm to try it out, but when it finally snowed, about 3 inches I gave it a try. It worked well, throwing the snow a good distance. I will need to get used to the controls. The joy-stick control for the chute is great and simple to use. I also love the power turning feature, but I will need to use it more to get proficient at using it. I ran the forward and reverse speeds near the top setting, and it made for a good walking speed. The battery was down by 1/4 or maybe a little more after finishing my long driveway and three car parking pad.

Needs a brake!

The machine is excellent. Plenty of power for moving the machine forward and throwing snow. Last night we got a few inches of snow and I was eager to try it out. My driveway is 500 feet long and there are 2 houses that share the driveway. I was able to handle the entire driveway and both garage way areas around the 2 houses and only used 2 of the 5 bars of battery power. One word of caution, the machine does not have a brake. When blowing downhill in small amounts of snow, the machine wants to roll down the hill quickly. Otherwise, it's a great machine with plenty of power for the big jobs.
