Prevents "Blue Baby Syndrome" - Methemoglobinemia reduces the ability of blood to properly transport oxygen. - Digital Fleck 5600SXT Control Head - The digital head provides a more user-friendly system with a LCD display, push-button operation, and additional programming options. Additionally, the digital head allows for more efficient operation than the standard mechanical head.

Nitrate/Nitrite Specific Resin High quality ion-exchange Nitrate/Nitrite Specific Resin specifically targets nitrates/nitrates. High quality ion-exchange softening resin provides hard water treatment. To keep costs down, most people use a system that combines nitrate/nitrite specific resin with standard softening resin. These combo systems provide all the benefits of a nitrate/nitrite filter with the softening ability of a water softener. The lower cost of softening resin also provides a lower price than the nitrate/nitrite only systems. Controlled by the low cost Fleck 5600, this system provides durability and efficiency in an economical package. The 5600SXT control head is metered, meaning it measures the amount of water used and regenerates only as needed!
