Smelly.
I didn't even fully open the rug because the smell of mold/mildew was profound and overpowering. I had to bring it outside immediately because of the smell. This is not an ivory, nor is it a tan color. It was more like a dingy greyish brown. Possible had mildew on it but I only opened the end and didn't unroll it. Some Safavieh rugs are quite nice and well constructed. Having ordered multiple rugs from this brand, it's clear that they are not all created equal. Not sure why.
