purchase 1 size larger as they fit "tight".

I ordered the same hat size of my baseball caps that fit perfect, but this Boonie Hat fits too tight......

Brim is TOO LARGE

The brim of this hat is TOO LARGE to be a replica of a Vietnam-era boonie hat. I kept the boonie hat that I wore in Vietnam. That brim is 2 inches wide with circular stitching every ¼ inch. The brim of this “replica” is 3 inches wide with circular stitching every 3/8 inches, which means that this brim is FLOPPY. Also, this hat is NOT size 7-7½; it is 7½, and is TOO BIG for those of us who wear a size 7.
