Palram - Canopia Venus 1350 4' x 3' Polycarbonate/Aluminum Awning - Gray/Clear

Frame is a gunmetal or dark pewter finish, and can be lightly sprayed before assembly if you wish to shift it in color or tone. I ordered one of these two years ago and put the shipping carton aside for after renovations. Turns out that the metal hardware itself was missing, so I called the company for replacement. They were WONDERFUL and helpful, despite it being so long ago. On that basis, and to spend money where it was appreciated, I ordered a second one to use instead of a canvas one waiting to be hung. That package arrived with all hardware, instructions were included (be patient and ask for advice if needed). Now all I have to do is overpaint and find a good handyman!

The awning itself is great, BUT it arrived at WalMart on a rainy day and while they did help me to my car with the item, rain poured on us and on the box. The box became weak and flimsy. Also the product arrived WITHOUT instructions. My husband had difficulty in figuring out how to install the rubber gaskets and had to call the company directly because of the lack of instructions. Product is only offered in gray. Other color choices would enhance the product (white, black, tan, brown - etc.) if we can get it together, I think it will be a great addition to a problem area at our home.
