Nice unit

My awning arrived in a few days even with the snow storms across the country last week. It took me about two and a half hours to install on my mobile home. Alone, I'm 67. We just had a rain storm and I'm pretty impressed with my new awning.

bad packaging....hopeful the plexiglass is not toast

very cheap..not impressed. for the money, there are certainly other options. The first instructions you see is a warning ""Do not contact the retailer""..makes you feel good right away. A bright green warning says""Do not contact the retailer"" and ""any product return request should be directed through the dealer.. Hot potato ... NO WAY TO RETURN IT It's up to you to count every piece. Some plexiglass channels/rubber gaskets are badly bent in shipping. My hope is the plexiglass is not scraped as the box was trashed. It is not 7 ft as advertised There is no way I would advise anyone to purchase this over the internet.

not enough uv blocking

I chose the light canopy thinking it would be fine, but it doesn't block UV rays well. My plants underneath are getting too much sun. A darker canopy would have been better.
