With powder-coated aluminum alloy frame and rust-resistant steel supporting tubes, this gray patio retractable rain shade awning is weatherproof and supposed to obtain the wind resistance up to 30MPH. The strong polyester fabric is UV-resistant, waterproof and color-fading-resistant that provides you better shading experience in summer. This awning is for balcony, door and anywhere you need to shelter. Patio gray awning is not suggested to stay fully extended in extreme weather for safety concern.

The directions on installation were not clear. The direction measurements are in cm and mounting brackets directions were not displayed on a diagram. To attach to the home a second person is needed. We replaced our old awning with this product. The appearence and sturdy quality is superior. I would purchase this awning again for our patio. It protects from sun and rain.

Better than expected. It shades and keeps the light rains off the front deck exceptionally. It winds up with minimal effort. After almost 3 months of continuous use it has held up like it is just out of the box. The included hardware wasn't up to what we felt was sufficient and we upgraded the wall mount hardware. Otherwise assembly was just fine.

How did we live without it?
This is an incredible awning...sturdy, rather easy to assemble and mount (with some help) and has added a great dimension to our outside living. We weight train on a back deck and all we have to do to ready the "gym" is open the awning, set up the equipment and turn on the music. It does fade in sunlight but I'm sure most would. It is easy to open/close and looks terrific. A neighbor just ordered one for their home after seeing ours and hearing us rave about it.
