16" Oscillating Stand Fan with Remote Control, White

I didn't realize how robust this fan is until I put it together at home. It has all sorts of speed and "mode" settings (it has a setting that turns it on and off for a few seconds at a time to mimic natural wind), and it has a heavy base that screws on underneath the plastic base that you can see (but you can't see the heavy base). I don't really like the natural wind setting, especially at night. It's annoying listening to it turn on and off and the puffs of air don't feel like wind at all -- it just feels like puffs of air. But it does have just a normal "on" setting, so that's what I use. The remote is nice, but the sensor doesn't always "see" the remote, even from only 5 feet away, so sometimes you have to push it multiple times before it reads your request. I'm giving this fan 5 stars because of the price. Even though it's super heavy (for a fan) and has a finicky remote, it's definitely worth the price, and I'm actually surprised it doesn't cost more.
