Texture is great, not too hot, easy to adjust and it is perfect for using at desk compared to a different shape, arms are free and it has a lot of open space, and isn't too heavy or hot. If it does get too warm, I just open it up more or just peel off the sides and it can rest on the chair back/sides relatively easy. The downside is disconnecting it and reconnecting it seems to require it to be replugged in which is an annoyance and the connector seems to be 4pin molex so I don't want to disconnect and reconnect it many times daily otherwise it might introduce some level of wear that I'd be suspicious of... but this is a decent connector, there could be worse, I'm just being conservative. The best thing would be different colors like other alternatives but I'm very happy with this, bought 3 as gifts already.

I love this shawl.
This shawl is amazing. This is probably the sixth one I've purchased. I've given them as gifts as well as kept a couple for myself. My daughter puts hers over her legs while she is at the computer. I lay mine on my bed and wrap myself up like the wings of Isis holding me while I sleep. I find the heat comforting whether it is in the day or night. Once the control started blinking and wouldn't work. Pure Relief had me film a short video and send it to them and they sent me a new shawl immediately.
