I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Great trash can. I only wish I had caught that it needs four D batteries. I wasn't quite prepared to try it out when it arrived but a quick run to the store fixed it! The trash can works great and I appreciate the power switch on the back that I can use to shut it off when my children confuse it for a toy.

This trash can is great in my kitchen because when I am cooking or cleaning then I am able to open the lid by standing in front of the can without using my hands. I love it! I appreciate being able to open this without stepping on a lever or having contact with the lid. Wave your hand over the sensor and the lid automatically opens and the closes several seconds later! Like magic :) It really helps except if the trash can is used in an area where you come in contact with it, the top tends to open if you walk by it. So, try not to put the can in an area that you pass by frequently. Other than that it's great. It will be interesting to see how long the batteries last. Hopefully they don't go dead real soon. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. It's very handy.
