Very comfy pad for large, heavy dogs.

Bought this for my English Mastiff puppies, as Mastiffs tend to get pressure sores on their elbows. The 7 month old really loved it. She would go and lay down in her crate when she was tired. All went well until I decided the 7 month old was mature enough to be let out when I went shopping. The 6 month old apparently didn't like being locked up alone. When I came home, the pad was shredded. This is no fault of the pad, in order for one to be teeth and claw resistant, it would have to be very uncomfortable, the crate tray for instance. Now I have to order another. If I decide to let Sara out and lock up Abby, since she is not to be trusted outside, I will take the pad out first.

Impressive Dog Bed

My old arthritic dog loves the soft, silky and plushness of this bed. Unfortunately the cats feel the same way and bully the poor guy off of it. I will have to get 2 smaller ones so the dog can sleep in peace. Wish my mattress felt as nice.
