Assembly is fairly easy, but I definitely recommend watching the YouTube video on assembly from Schwinn, as well as a video on adjusting the brakes. This trike is super comfortable and stable, and having 3 speeds is helpful in my somewhat hilly neighborhood (I think the single speed would be a challenge.) The red metallic paint looks really sharp, and several of my neighbors have asked me where I got it as I pass them riding around our golf course. Definitely recommend for folks with mild mobility issues (like me) who are missing the wind in their face on a bike ride!
