I really like this futon and it’s a comfortable sleep. To note however, the description reads around 50 lbs but it’s actually 72lbs. I know that doesn’t sound like a big difference. However I live in a walkup in Manhattan and since the package is bulky the extra 25lbs required I pay someone help me get it up the stairs. Also, it came torn (flimsy packaging). However since the tear is on the bottom and I required help getting it into my home, I’m simply going to live with it. Again, it sleeps well. It’s of good quality. I like the item overall. The only complaint is the flimsy packaging and the discrepancy in the listed weight vs actual weight.

Here's my impression after reading reviews and then getting the futon. It is not hard, it is medium, it is comfortable to sit on and to sleep on, do not need to purchase a topper but, of course, it would be better with one. Th e couch is white, not off white but not bright white. The directions don't mention washers don't forget to use them legs are in a zipper pouch underneath sofa, very easy to assemble, just put on legs. Folds down and up smoothly. Looks just like the picture, great couch, glad I purchased it.
