Would I reccomend these boots to a friend? It would completely depend on what they were going to use these boots for. They are not $120 boots from Cabellas that will last on any job for years and I would tell my friend to consider that.
The value is great. The price is better than kmart, target, and payless amung others becuase i went to them all pricing my boots as i am on a very tight budget.
It meets my expectation because i expected a $30 boot from walmart made in china. I was Not appauled when they did not hold up like expensive boots like other reviewers were.
The quality of these boots are fair. They never fell apart on me personally and the stitching never came out. They lasted me about a year and a half doing concrete and clearing blackberry bushes and other brush. The lye from pouring concrete dried them out and was eventually the death of the boots.
The styling is fine. They feel like a $30 boot from walmart. Feels good. They look like an average construction boot. Fine by me.
They run about half a size to a whole size larger than what I wear normally. I am a 10.5 and 10.5 was much to large. A 10 fit good. I would suggest trying your boots on before you buy them, or keep the recepit if they are a gift. These boots wont hold up if you are constantly out in your hard fixing your truck and working on your property and then going to work building fences all day or something. they will most likely start to fall apart becuase they are more for just doing whatever youre payed to do in, and thats about it. A lot of brahma reviews say everything by brahma is total garbage in every single way. I am not saying they are great either, but im deffinitly not saying they are as *explicit edit* as every single review ive read says. My biggest point is that if you are a guy who just needs a pair of boots to work in whenever your task requires boots, then buy these. But these boots arent going to replace your previous outstanding boots that lasted you forever and kept up with every job youve had, if thats your situation. You are getting what you pay for with these. Have realistic expectations. They are well worth the money in my opinion. They arent Eddie Bauer, theyre brahma from walmart and they were made in china. Id buy them again, and I did, except this time I got the Brahma Bravos to switch it up. To me, boots are small investment and I want a pair thats going to hold up for what I do. I work production at a nursery so I dig holes all day and drive a front loader. I have a pair of waterproof boots for rainy days and a pair of brahmas for everything else. For what I do now, the Bravos by Brahma is fine and Id count on the Huberts also. For concrete they were fine for a year or so aswell. Id wear steal toe for safety, but i really dont like steal toes at all .
