It takes a week or so to get familiar with the chairs operations. I have found that you can set the chair to just work on 1 spot or the upper back - shoulder region or set it work on the lower back and apply heat. I found that you can adjust the feet rollers to less intense rolls or stop the rollers completely, adjust the air inflation to 3 separate intensities or shut it off. I am still learning but it is doing wonders on my back. If you dont like it at first give yourself some time to learn how to use the controller to adjust the intensities. I have now had the balichun chair for many days and use it every night. I love it. I gifted myself and am not disappointed in it. Ive had no problems with it. The delivery said Aug 10th. It shipped and I received it 2 weeks earlier. It is NOT recommended for Osteoporosis.They caution you that if you have Osteoporosis not to use it. (I have put towels etc where the rollers seem too strong.)

I love the chair especially the feet rollers I work nights as a respiratory therapist so I'm on my feet 12.5 hours at a time so when I get home I get in the chair after my shower and before I go to bed .I can really feel the difference in how I feel when I wake up. This was a present to myself and now if I can keep everyone else out of it.
