Within twenty four hours of assembly, this recliner has exceeded all expectations. The concern I had with ordering faux leather vanished once we removed protective plastic. The upholstery is beautifully sewn and appears to be durable. I purchased this chair for my husband, 6' 7" in height. Not only is he comfortable, but I at 5' 11" am as well. The chair was delivered and carefully packaged in three boxes. Assembly was easy, but took both of us sliding the back into the sturdy brackets as we are seniors. The remote hook up was clear and easy to understand. It does require the electricity to recline via the remote; but we appreciate the ease and options via the remote and the gentle movement verses the old manual side piece to lean back or return chair to straight position-as the old recliner we had once had was difficult for us with past shoulder injuries. Also, the remote offers a fullness in the lower back if needed which is a huge thank you for a scoliosis sufferer such as myself and my husband's herniated and degenerative lower spine issues. I understand the comments of a second purchase. This was my first time ordering a recliner. I appreciate MCombo manufacturing a well-built and attractive chair for people of my husband's height.
