These are light-filtering so you will still see sunlight through them but they are COMPLETELY PRIVACY-FRIENDLY. You cannot see through them. They were delivered the next day and once I quickly ironed out the folds, I had them hanging in no time. VERY HAPPY. I ordered more of the same. (I ordered the pure white ones, and they are a PURE FLAT WHITE, not bluish or yellowy.)
