Flimsy Rods, Adhesive Installation does not work.

Instructions for assembly were not very helpful and though installation briefly mentioned installation with a baseboard present, the instructions did not fully explain how to install with a baseboard present. The adhesive installation did not work at all and came off immediately along with the paint and part of the drywall on my wall. My dog jumped on it once, and the support rods immediately bent and came out of the mesh from the top. I was able to push them back into the mesh, but 2 of the rods are bowed and cannot be bent back to the vertical position.
