Nothing Fancy, But Durable

I bought this last-minute while packing for a trip, having realized less than 36 hours before departure that our old.large suitcases were apt to fall open while being tossed around the baggage carriers. So I needed a large, sturdy, suitcase deep and wide enough to hold my husband's suit and my dress clothes without wrinkling, plus our casual wear, shoes, toiletries, etc. for a two-week trip which included a cross-country drive on our return home. . AND I needed it to be delivered in time for me to re-pack for our one-way flight. This suitcase fit the bill on all counts. Sure it's basic black, but a distinguishable ribbon around the handle solves the ID problem at Baggage Claim. Yes, it's soft and cushion-y, but I like that as I find the expandable compartments always leave room for more items. It has just the right amount of pockets, and the 360- wheels and built-in combination lock give it a modern touch. Be assured this is NOT a carry-on suitcase. But neither is it so big as to be cumbersome. It was easy enough to get in and out of our vehicle nightly as we stayed in hotels on our road trip home. Zippers and wheels seem sturdy enough to stand the test of time. For well under $100 I am very pleased with its performance.

Great Luggage!

I am very pleased by this Swissgear medium expandable suitcase. I have a carry on Swissgear suit case that I purchased a decade ago and it's still going strong! I now match with this slightly larger model Swissgear. The keypad lock is a very nice feature that I do not have on the smaller suitcase. Also the suitcase has four wheels that makes it easy to wheel through the airport. Traveling is a breeze with this rusted yet affordable brand! I am now eyeing the large model to complete my set!
