I replaced the fan in my bedroom with this fan %26 the cooling is excellent. It tilts up and down as you would expect. There is no remote; it would be nice if there were. Fourteen inches for a bedroom fan turned out to be bigger than I thought, but being a Texan, it is excellent! I keep it on low during winter.
